We've been able to help 27 families enjoy Thanksgiving meals over the holiday season already, and toys are coming in for the children of Marines stationed at 29 Palms. The 120 donated twin sheet sets fully supplied the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission (where the choir will present a concert on Tuesday, December 6th), and the Pantry is receiving food week by week by many of you to distribute to those in need. All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!<br /><br />We do our best not to dwell upon the needs of the church. God has been so good, and He is seeing us through every step of the way! Line by line, we have trimmed budget and are seeking to stay within good financial guidelines. I am so thankful for our Finance Committee and Board of Directors as we work month after month to ensure stability in our budget and careful financial planning.<br /><br />Traditionally, the month of December is that time for special year-end gifts. It would be a wonderful blessing to wrap up 2011 with our general budget fully supplied! The great news is that this can truly happen. Our total budgetary need by December 31st is $150,000. Based upon our typical giving in the month of December, we need an increase of just $18,000 in special gifts to complete this year in the black! Will you help us meet this important financial goal?
